Welcome back to the Summer Days Linky. This week it’s just me as Karen is having a lovely family holiday in West Wales. You can link your summery posts at the bottom of this post or read more about the linky HERE.
This week has been all about the new allotment. Between buying a few new tools, seeds that will grow over winter, gloves for the kids etc and then trying to actually get some ground dug up it has taken up our entire week. I even managed to get the girls involved which I was mightily surprised at!
But we have finally broken ground with our first plot, here Lee and LV are trying to dig up one of many stones!
Sadly the weather turned for the worst today and tomorrow is supposed to be torrential, but I’m hoping it will dry out over the weekend as we are getting to borrow a rotavator which will make things a lot easier!
Also tomorrow, today, let’s just say Friday! I am going to meet up with Karen and her family on their journey home, which I am soooo excited about! We live just off juction 36 of the M4, which she should be passing about lunchtime, so we are taking full advantage and meeting up for coffee and letting her girls stretch their legs! We had planned to meet at the country park which is just 10 minutes from the motorway, but with the weather we have switched it to the McArthur Glen chopping centre instead as it is undercover.
So now on to this weeks Summer Days linky, please feel free to link up any type of post. It could be a round up of your week, a picture you want to share, a yummy recipe, fun craft or an activity you’ve tried. Maybe you simply went out for a lovely walk in the sun or spent a bit of time in the garden. Anything you like that makes you think of summer including fashion, beauty, interiors and travel posts.
Of course there are a few simple rules:
- Link up one of your summer related posts from this year.
- Please comment on at least the two posts before yours ~ Remember these linkys only work if we all share the love, the more you give the more you get back!
- You can use the hashtag #SummerDays when you comment to let people know where you came from.
- Please add the badge to the bottom of your post to help spread the word of the linky.
- Have fun! It is summer after all 😀
