With that being the case a good friend of mine (although we are yet to actually meet face to face!) Jess who blogs over at Mummy of Boy Girl Twins kindly offered to write this guest post for me. Her twins are a lot younger than mine so have that extra Ahhh! factor too 😀
Carving pumpkins with the twins
This week I decided to carve a pumpkin out with the twins help. I was expecting utter mess, them falling out and me wishing I hadn’t started. I actually got the opposite. It was lovely.
The twins scooped out the middle of the pumpkin carefully and very professionally! They loved it. Saying “seeds out” the whole time. I really enjoyed watching them work together and help me.
We carved a face into the pumpkin and they have named him Jack!
Last year they were a bit too little to help, but this year (at 2) they have been fantastic.
We are having a Halloween party on Friday 31st, with a few friends of theirs, and so we will place Jack on the fireplace with a lit candle inside to scare everyone!!!!!

Didn’t they do a great job!?! We never did pumpkin carving when E&Ff were this young. I don’t think it was really a ‘thing’ back then, I bet they would have had a great time though just like Jess’ two did!
Jack really will be setting the atmosphere at the party tonight! I hope you all have an eerily good time 😀
You will be able to see photo’s of our pumpkins over on my Instagram feed later today. Did you carve pumpkins this year?
