So here we have it, The ultimate tween/teen girl stocking fillers. I was actually dreading putting together this one as I was originally a bit stumped but I have actually given myself lot’s of great ideas of what
I Santa can add to the girls Christmas stockings this year!
As I mentioned in my Stocking fillers for boys post we always have a few traditional items such as the orange and the chocolate coins so again pretend these are tucked nicely down in the toe of this stocking too!
1. Christmas ear muffs from Amazon
To go along with our ‘something a bit christmassy’ with the socks and gloves
2. Pamper party bags from Ebay
This bag contains everything a tween/teen could want to pamper themselves, from the nail varnish to the lotion to the little packet of sweeties. And at such a good price, maybe mum could get one too!
3. Sugru moldable glue
These little packets contain a world of possibilities. From fixing phone chargers so the wires don’t break to making fun little sculptures this stuff is my new best friend and I know my daughters love thinking up weird and wonderful ways to put it to use! Also with 3 younger siblings the chances of something of theirs getting broken is quite high and with all the colours available now fixing them is a synch!
4. Lip Gloss from Claires
Claire’s have a vast selection of lip glosses aimed at teens but this sweet little lip gloss is bound to be a winner and the fact that it is candy floss flavoured well… At least you hope they are old enough not to eat it!
5. Bodwash from Lynx
I think smellies are a staple stocking filler for teenage girls and Lynx has a great range for women. I try to stock up on them at Christmas to try and see them through at least the first few months of the year!
6. Owl chalkboard from Wilko
You might need a slightly larger stocking to fit this in but it will be worth it! Owls seem to be the in thing this year and Wilko have a nice collection including this chalkboard What is so sweet is that the little owl is also a piece of chalk!
7. Post-it pop up dispenser
I’m not sure what is so addictive about post-it notes but there’s almost nothing that makes my teens happier than being given a pack of them, I swear it’s like giving a toddler a packet of sweets! These funky dispensers are ideal to keep on their desks. There is a lovely range, from cats to hearts but my favourite is this stylish handbag. There are plenty of places that stock them too.
8. Christmas scratch art magnets from Baker Ross
A lot of craft kits are aimed more at the younger kids, but these magnets are great as your teen can go as wild as they like with the patterns they create. With a pack of 10 it will also be something that will keep them occupied for a while!
9. Body sprays from Impulse
All tween and teen girls love to smell nice and going by the amount of sprays we go through in this house they make an ideal stocking filler, with a reasonable price tag too! Impulse is a favoured brand and we were quite excited to see the new scent Rock & Love which is limited addition scent available at Superdrug right now!
The Extra Special Gift
This isn’t what you would normally class as a stocking filler, but sometimes adding an extra special gift can really make your teen’s Christmas, and lets be honest with all the hormones and angst that is running through their veins we need all the help we can get! Also this is the ‘Ultimate Stocking’ we are talking about here! This gift is bound to make the grin and be the envy of all their friends when they get back to school!
Experience gifts have been really popular over the last few years. One aimed specifically at 11-17 year olds is the Young Drivers lessons. Held in 33 locations around the UK, these lessons will not only give your teen the fun and exciting side of driving a car, something that is usually denied to them, but what they get taught is exactly the same as what is taught in normal adult lessons and road safety is high on the agenda. I have been really lucky to have been given the chance for E&Ff to experience these lessons for themselves so expect a full review in January!
Is this THE ultimate tween/teen girl’s Christmas stocking? What else would you add?
Disclaimer: I was sent the body sprays, post-it dispensers, chalkboard and the Sugru (chosen by me) for the purposes of this post.
